Working meeting at Dolna Banya

A working meeting of representatives of IOM Bulgaria, NCCTHB and Consortium NMZM-BASP-FZPM was held on 27 and 28 February 2022 to coordinate the upcoming project activities. Roma health mediators from Trun, Breznik, Provadia, Harmanli, Samokov, Ihtiman and Kostenets also attended the meeting, which was held both online and in person. The meeting was focused on specifying the information messages from the developed communication strategy as well as the scheduling of future information sessions and the accompanying events.

At a later stage, representatives of the Amaro Foro organization, as well as ones from the labor and social services of the Bulgarian embassies in Germany, Greece, Spain and Switzerland joined in the meeting. The attendees shared their  practical experience in their work with Bulgarian labor migrants abroad and made suggestions for the specific work on the project.

This activity was implemented within the framework of the project “Raising the awareness of local communities in areas with significant Roma populations on asylum and migration issues” funded by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism - 2014-2021.
