International Organization for Migration - Mission in Bulgaria is pleased to invite you to participate in a presentation of the analysis of the results of a survey conducted in Roma communities on migration-related issues under the project "Raising awareness of local communities in areas with a significant Roma population on asylum and migration issues", funded under the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 under Contract No. BGHOMEAFFAIRS-3.003-0001-C01.
The event will take place as a hybrid /in-person and online/ event on 30 September 2021.

The aim of the meeting is to present the results of a field study conducted in five locations (Provadia, Harmanly, Breznik, Tran and Sofia–Filipovtsi).
The focus of the research are topics related to:
- Experience and knowledge from and about living abroad,
- Attitudes and motivation for migration,
- Knowledge about access to the labour market and social services for migrants,
- Knowledge of risks and challenges faced by migrants,
- Experience and knowledge from and about encounters with refugees and migrants in Bulgaria.
The moderator will be Ms. Tsveta Petkova, expert and member of the Board of the National Network of Health Mediators.
Programme:
- 14:00-14:15 - Registration of participants. Opening of the meeting.
- 14:15-15:00 - Presentation of the results of the survey - prof. Prof. Maya Grekova, NNHM - BFPA - EMHPF consortium
- 15:00-15:30 - Discussion
- 15:30-15:40 - Presentation of the project website - Teodora Nikolova and Yavor Lilov (IOM).
